I met Sam during her freshman year orientation at UTC in the summer of 2011. I was working the Sigma Kappa Recruitment table and it was "friends at first sight" as we like to call it. Sam, of course then rushed Sigma Kappa and became my "Little Sister" and we have been inseparable ever since.

The first time we met - No, the first time Alex told me about her best friend from high school, Kyra, I knew we would be forever friends. Anytime Kyra and I are together there is not a moment without laughter and fun. I feel beyond blessed to get to call her my friend and have her in my life.

I will never forget the first time I met Taylor Shea (T-Shea, as she likes to be called). I walked into my first college class, and the prettiest girl I had ever seen, yells from across the room, “HEY, YOU'RE A SIGMA KAPPA, I AM TOO, COME SIT BY ME”. She has since become one of my very best friends and the person I talk to the most, only second to Chase. God truly had a hand in putting T-Shea in my path and I do not know how I would function without her.

I am so excited that on April 11th I will officially get to call Jessi, my niece. Jessi is so amazing, beautiful, smart and funny that it would be hard not to be proud and love her! I cannot believe that when I first met her, four years ago she didn’t even have her learners permit and now she is in college! I am really happy we have become so close over the years and am thrilled she will stand by my side as I marry her Uncle Chase.
